Gally REALLY wants to go in the car. Normal walk unacceptable. Last 2 car trips have been to vet, but I think she still believes that car usually equals dog park or Grandma’s house. And if she signals her desire strongly enough, I will understand and take her to those places. At least her paw is recovered enough now that going for a short walk is theoretically possible. Headcanon: Professor McGonagall has a muggle wife she never mentions to the students, because they never ask.

Four years after Harry’s left Hogwarts he visits McGonagall’s home to talk her out of retirement, and the door is opened by a woman he doesn’t recognise. Confused, he introduces himself and asks to see McGonagall. The woman recognises the name and invites him in, saying Minerva will be home soon. She then talks a mile a minute, but not about the war – about the stories she’s heard about the golden trio from their head of house. About how Harry stood up to Umbridge, and how clever Hermione was, and how Ron had been able to beat her chess game, and how PROUD Minerva was of them all.

By the time McGonagall does arrive, Harry and her wife are chatting like old friends. Minvera’s wife calls her things like “Darling” and “Pumpkin.” Harry cannot believe his ears.

Harry is invited to tea every Wednesday from then on. He always looks forward to it.

but lets be real here, even with the “darling”s and “pumpkin”s Harry still wouldn’t catch on and he’d go home and tell Ginny all about McGonagall’s lovely gal-pal and Ginny would have to be like “babe…that was her wife”

Ugh! Why am I browsing Hot Topic’s website? I want everything! Now they have a Yuri on Ice “kiss” shirt! I want it! Even though it’s in black and white. But I already have two Yuri on Ice t-shirts and my t-shirt collection in general is just out of control. I only opened the page because I saw a guy wearing a really nice Spirited Away No Face kimono at Pride and I knew I needed one too! Apparently, they had a Haku dragon design as well, but of course it’s all sold out. 😦

Anyway, black and white anime shirts seems to be a thing lately? They have a Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress shirt that’s white on black and it just seems too minimalist to me. Like the Yuri on ice “kiss” shirt is black and white and I sort of feel that it’s in black and white to minimize and downplay the content of the shirt, that epic moment. Which is why, while one part of me says “Get it!!!” I’ll wait till a better one comes along. Two Yuri on Ice shirts and a Noh Face kimono will just have to be enough for me.

But oh man, you can find more and more fun anime things at Hot Topic and in more and more sizes! So happy they’re moving away from that shitty “girl’s junior” BS. I mean, you don’t see the guys’ clothes in there labeled as “boy’s junior” do you? No. No you fucking don’t.
