I’m queer.

A significant part of the point of “queer” is that we might volunteer that info, but you don’t get to fucking ask that. And frankly, “LGBT” gatekeepers who aren’t part of the queer movement or community? Don’t get a fucking say in who uses it or why.

“Queer is a slur” say people who are fine with “gay” even though it’s so commonly used as a slur it’s ridiculous

I distinctly recall seeing at least one someone in the “Queer is a slur” camp who self-identified as a “faggot” in their blog blurb. 

If you can use that word, I can use mine.

if someone’s calling you queer and you don’t want them to, then you have every right to say so. if someone’s calling themself queer and you don’t want them to, mind your own fucking business. 

anyway i’m here and i’m queer and no one gets to stop me from being either of those things.
